Celebrate student’s ability, creativity, and excitement in learning by supporting the Santee School District Foundation (SSDF). The sole purpose of the SSDF is to provide enhanced learning opportunities to the students in the Santee School District.
Consider sponsoring one of our fundraising activities. You will receive advertisement opportunities knowing that children will gain experiences to expand and enrich their learning. General donation are greatly appreciated, if you prefer.
Our main fundraising activities include:
- A Golf Classic held at Carlton Oaks Golf Course in June. Sponsors receive recognition along the course. Prizes for Hole in One, Longest Drive (male and female) and more, Silent Auction baskets and Live Auction gifts also welcomed.
- The Aloha 5K Fun Run/Walk in April. Sponsor booths, race shirts with sponsors listed on the back, and signage along the route are benefits of donating. Additionally, each participant receives a race bag with items provided by sponsors.
100% of the proceeds from these events directly benefit the Santee students. One program funded by the Foundation is Arts Attack. Every student is offered art instruction which broadens basic art skills, expands vocabulary, and allows students to practice different art techniques.
Grants are awarded to qualifying innovative teachers with ideas on how to excite and enhance the adopted district curriculum. With monies raised by the SSDF, these grants fund such programs as student gardens, technology programs, photography projects, P.E. Items, and STEM and STEAM projects.
Finally, we are currently in the process of establishing an after school music program for students in grades 4-8. This is a hefty goal. Music instruction is costly, but the benefits far outweigh the cost. 
It has been proven that students who engage in music develop skills that make them better learners and are more likely to contribute positively to society.
The following sheet explains our sponsorship levels and what we provide at each level. We do honor requests to remain anonymous.
