Minutes Board Meeting
6:00 pm Monday, May 24,2010

1. Welcome and Introductions-

2. Meeting was called to order by President- Rachael Folsom, at 6:00PM

3. In attendance:  
  • Linda Vail
  • Barbara Ryan
  • Jim Panknin
  • Rachael Folsom
  • Terry Johnson
  • Betty Vega
4. Approval of the minutes from April, 2010.
  • Barbara moved to approve the minutes and Jim seconded the motion. Minutes were approved and filed
5. The Treasurer’s Report was read distributed, discussed and filed.
  • Mom’s Guide Fundraiser:
    Jim moved to go into this project as a partner and take a % of what Jennnifer Humora raises from it. Barbara seconded it and the motion was approved.

6. Website:

  • Continue to update
  • Jim will work on credit card, and PayPal ability online and report at the Aug. meeting.
7. Foundation Brochure:
  • Copies were distributed and will be available for the Street Fair and the Golf Tournament.
8. Golf Tournament:
  • Golf flyer will be on the website.
  • Still need golfers, sponsors coming in.
9. Street Fair:
  • Table time assignments were decided.
  • Jim moved to purchase a canopy for shade, Barbara seconded the motion and it was approved. Approx. cost $200.00 10X10.
10. Paver Orders:
  • Linda reported that we don’t have 25 orders yet to have the next ones engraved and delivered.
11. Round Table Discussion:
  • The Barbara Ramsey Scholarship will be presented at the June 15 Board Meeting.
Adjournment 7:00 p.m.: Next meeting will be July 26, 2010 6:00 p.m District Library (no June meeting).
