Minutes Board Meeting
6:00 pm Monday, February 22,2010

1. Welcome and Introductions-


2. Meeting was called to order by Vice -President- Terry Johnson, at 6:00PM

3. In attendance:  
  • Jim Panknin
  • Gabriel Pina
  • Terry Johnson
  • Joanne Denniston
  • Ellen Duty
  • Ted Hooks
  • Betty Vega
4. Jim moved to approve the minutes from January 25, 2010.
  • Gabriel seconded the motion and minutes were approved and filed.
 5. The Treasurer’s Report was read distributed, discussed and filed.
  • No issues.
6. Art Show
  • The frames were covered by donations from the parents for a total of $612.00
  • There will be 9 vendor tables. The Foundation will have a table.
  • Foundation volunteers need to be at the Boys and Girls Club to help set up at 4:00 p.m.
  • Children’s art was framed and Flea auction items were prepared this afternoon for the Art Show and Auction, which will be held on Feb. 23 at the Boys and Girls Club in Santee.
7. Golf Tournament
  • Next meeting will be March 11. Minutes from Feb. 11 were distributed.
8. Foundation Brochure:
  • Arli is continuing to work on the final draft of the Brochure. These will be distributed at the schools and local businesses and activities of the Foundation. Betty will email the final product when she gets it back from Arli before we have it printed.
9. Mini- Grant Spread Sheet and Mom’s Guide Fundraiser:
  • Tabled to next meeting when Rachael will be able to discuss these items.
10. Round Table Discussion:
  • None.
Adjournment 6:45 p.m.: Next meeting will be March 22, 2010 6:00 p.m District Library.
